A True Document Retrieval Company

The network behind the name

Our company is named for the thing we do best. Since 1999, Document Retrieval Network has built and managed a nationwide network of in-county researchers who retrieve recorded documents directly from courthouses and recording offices in all fifty states.

Building that network is the easy part. Managing it is what our clients actually pay for: knowing which researcher covers which county, how each county's records are organized, what each retrieval should cost, and how long it should take — and holding every order to that standard. That is vendor management, and it is the invisible service inside every order you place with us.

Why not just call the county?

You can — if you know which office holds the record, whether they take phone requests, what the copy fees are, and how to describe the document so the clerk pulls the right one. Multiply that by every county in your pipeline, and the "free" option costs more than the vendor. We make one process out of 3,000+ different county procedures.

Why not manage your own abstractor list?

Many of our clients used to. A list of independent abstractors means dozens of vendors to onboard, invoice, chase, and quality-check — each with their own format and their own response time. With DRN you get the same local courthouse access through one contract, one invoice, one delivery format, and one support team that answers for all of it.

What does central quality control add?

Every document that comes back from the field is checked by our in-house team before delivery: right property, right parties, right instrument, legible image. When something doesn't match, we catch it and fix it — before it reaches your file.

Part of every service we offer

The same network powers our nationwide document retrieval, our recording services, and the courthouse legwork behind our title searches in nine states. Whatever the order type, the promise is the same: courthouse-direct work, centrally quality-checked, delivered on time.

Put the network to work for you.
